About Mullameah
Established in 2017 by Brenton and Matthew, Mullameah Highland Cattle was founded on a commitment to quality and excellence. Our journey began with the acquisition of our foundation female, Caoimhe of Omaroo—a heifer exemplifying femininity, structural soundness, and remarkable genetic potential. Her lineage is traced back to the distinguished Durness Fold, providing a strong basis for our breeding program.
In the same year, we broadened our genetic pool by introducing two senior cows from the Bultarra Fold. This strategic addition enhanced our diversity, while also incorporating commercially advantageous traits such as increased body depth, length, and muscle development.
Situated in the fertile region of Mullengandra, NSW—nestled between Holbrook and Albury—Mullameah Highland Cattle reflects the area’s rich grazing heritage. The name ‘Mullameah’ pays homage to the property in which it is located.
Brenton and Matthew are dedicated to achieving a clear breeding objective: to produce Highland cattle that are not only productive but also structurally sound. We aim to embody the desirable trait characteristics of this celebrated breed. By prioritizing functionality from the ground up, we ensure the longevity and preservation of these magnificent animals for generations to come.
